Following the successful launch of their online store, Home Bargains required a promotional campaign to drive traffic and sales through to the website. Home Bargains had already developed a large database, so an emarketing campaign was the next step to target potential customers and make them aware of the new ecommerce site.
The online store was already live so we utilised a number of screen shots to give potential customers a flavour of the functionality and products available at the online store. Taking into account all the restrictions that apply while designing emarketing and always adhering to Home Bargains’ brand guidelines, we produced a distinctive and effective promotional email.
The final design showed users exactly what they could expect from the website, including a sample of products and delivery charges, while a punchy headline instilled an urgency for the user to click through to the online store.
The concept was simple but the results speak for themselves, increased traffic and a raise in sales proved this to be a successful promotional campaign.
