“It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see”
My obsession with web development came from a fascination with computers and puzzles. I love breaking things apart to see how they work and then putting them back together. I’m proud to be at the stage where there are no remaining parts or extra pieces.
Now that I have joined Parker Design with like-minded developers and very creative staff, the road ahead will be an exciting one. I am a programmer at heart. I’ve been developing since 2003 and I love every minute of it. When you can create an application that meets your client’s requirements now but has a solid foundation for future growth it is really rewarding.
I enjoy the challenge of finding solutions that hide the inherent complexities of web applications and provide a rich user experience as they navigate their way through it. As the list of technologies continues to grow, it’s welcoming to be part of a team that continually tries to find the right combination of tools for the task at hand.
When I’m not working or with my family, you would find me playing some sport or other. I enjoy basketball and volleyball at professional levels and I like tennis. In a different twist, I have now taken to braving the slopes with the team. Travelling is another love of mine. Whether it’s for basketball or other adventures, I think each experience provides a rich resource that should be tapped into. The unique differences you find through these experiences let you look at problem solving from multiple perspectives. Parker Design has been a unique adventure already and I look forward to the road ahead.
