We created a food industry report design that reinforced our client’s position as a leading authority in the food and beverage sector.
Background
The analysis of food and its nutritional properties is becoming increasingly sophisticated. A large body of independent research and clinical trials confirm global health claims and back up the designation of cranberries as a ‘super food’.
Backed by one of the world’s leading fruit ingredient suppliers, the Ocean Spray Ingredient Technology Group (ITG) is dedicated to researching and developing new cranberry products for consumers worldwide.
Challenge
To ensure our client maintains a strong and authoritative presence in the industry, we were tasked with developing a visually compelling and highly engaging food industry report design. This report needed to present scientific insights while emphasising the diverse applications and nutritional advantages of cranberries as a versatile ingredient.
Solution
We fully leveraged the company’s extensive brand colour palette, using it thoughtfully and strategically to draw attention to important data points throughout the food industry report. By carefully applying these colours, we ensured that critical insights stood out.
To create a report that stood apart from conventional industry documents, we made a deliberate decision to use a landscape orientation. This design choice introduced a modern, open layout that felt more inviting and reader-friendly. The report design incorporated striking photography, featuring captivating images of cranberry harvests and product applications. These visuals added depth and vibrancy to the content, reinforcing the direct connection between raw, natural ingredients and their practical use in food production.
To strengthen brand consistency, we incorporated graphic elements and shapes derived from the company’s logo. These subtle yet effective design choices gave the report a polished, professional and cohesive appearance, ensuring it aligned seamlessly with the company’s broader visual identity. The use of structured yet dynamic layouts further contributed to a design that was both sophisticated and engaging.
Beyond aesthetics, this approach played a crucial role in bridging the gap between scientific researchers and food manufacturers. By presenting research-driven insights in a compelling and digestible format, the report ensured that decision-makers involved in product development could clearly grasp the benefits and appeal of cranberries as a versatile ingredient.
