With this simple, clean and fresh pop up banner design we helped our client attract visitors to their stand by transmitting the essence of the Bournemouth University experience.
Background
Conceived to establish Bournemouth University as a world class learning hub, our client is proud of and focused on their new vision: a mix of excellence in education, research and professional practice that reaches beyond borders.
The University is also proud of the privileged location they’re able to offer students and staff: the largest natural harbour in the country, unique beaches, and the stunning beauty of one of the newest natural parks in the country.
Challenge
As part of an exhibition stand design that would bring all these elements – location, vibrancy, openness – to the surface, the team at Bournemouth University also asked us to produce a simple, cost-effective, and at the same time, truly engaging pop up banner design.
Solution
The pop up banner design, the stand as a whole, is an immediate success, capturing the imagination of visitors thanks to their simplicity and freshness.
A stunning photograph of the local area is the hero, it speaks for itself: the kind of lifestyle that can be expected at Bournemouth University is clear straight away. The image doesn’t distract from the messaging thanks to the visually stimulating design around it.
The concise and strong messaging we used in the pop up banner invites visitors to find out more; a circular shape, and pink, red and orange tones evoke sunny local beaches, and the warm and welcoming nature of Bournemouth.
The rounded style of the fonts also hints at the friendliness and openness of what the Bournemouth University experience offers.
