The heroes
of our story

Andi Parker

Managing Director

I design something every day. Even on my days off. I've been a graphic designer forever – 30 years to be precise – and still love it. These days graphic design companies needs to offer an even broader mix of skills to their clients. That's what Parker Design is all about.

Simon Hallows

Director

Being a graphic designer is quite simply the best job in the world! In what other job, on a daily basis, do you get to see someone's face light up when they see something you've created?

x

Seth Hawthorne

Director

Exciting or what? I love being part of Parker Design's London team – working alongside a great bunch of talented people and encountering constant opportunities with interesting businesses that need our help.

x

Helen Plumtree

Account Director

The only constant in life is change. And that is why I love what I do – everything changes, nothing stands still, every day is different, every client is different.

x

Sam Hutchinson

Digital Director

Sam has been with Parker Design for seven years and became our Digital Director in 2015. With 20 years’ project management experience, Sam specialises in successfully guiding projects from briefing to completion – through an agile approach and hands-on strategy.

Mark Bowers

Creative Director

My dad was a very creative thinker and doer. Very solution focussed and can do. I like to think it rubbed off on me. I love to solve client briefs with innovative thinking and ideas combined with killer design solutions and an arsenal of digital ordnance. Absorb, understand, think, play and deliver. Thanks dad.

x

Martin Higham

Production Director

Just because you need something quickly and to a budget, doesn't mean it can't also be great. As Production Director, I'm closely involved in planning large campaigns, and I also manage external and internal resources to ensure the quality of work delivered is exactly what our clients expect, and more.

x

Dominique Bartram

Design Director

At Parker Design Consultants, I get the chance to work with other brilliant graphic designers and big-name clients. I get a real kick from producing logo concepts and brand rollouts across various applications.

x

Kieron Dony

Technical Director

The more complex a task, the more rewarding it is to find an elegant solution. My love affair with programming really started back in 2000 when, whilst studying Computer Science at University. Needless to say, I knew I’d found my calling.

x

Dan Kendrew

Account Director

Good design is what really gets me excited. Oh, and the 80s. I love well thought-out, simple design. Whether it’s a corporate brochure, a car, a fine example of good architecture, or a great invention, I really appreciate good design, regardless of industry or purpose.

x

Chris Lees

Account Director

With over two decades of experience working in Client Services in creative agencies across FMCG, finance, travel and leisure sectors - with brands such as Shell, Durex, Centre Parcs, Virgin, HSBC and Lloyds Bank - I like to think I understand the delicacies of client handling more than most.

x

Lauren Parker

Senior Account Manager

When the opportunity presented itself to join Parker Design I jumped at it. I’m very excited to be part of the new London team, and I hope to be a driving force behind Parker Design becoming one of London’s top agencies.

x

Heidi Sproston

Financial Controller

I joined Parker Design Consultants as their accountant, with over 20 years experience, having worked in both practice and industry. All those years of study have paid off, leading me now to discover the creative world of the design agency.

x

Emma Davies

Assistant Accountant

Before I found Parker Design I had been thinking of taking a leap of faith and move to a totally different sector, so when the opportunity came up it didn’t take me long to decide. And what a great decision that was!

x

Tom Gaskell

Art Director

My design story started in 2000 as a tall, lanky, quiet lad from Cheshire who originally signed up to study Art at college. But I quickly changed my mind as soon as I learnt that there was a Graphic Design course on offer.  I loved computers and I loved to draw  - I still do -  what a perfect combination.

x

Paul Ellis

Art Director

As an art director, I like to develop client relationships and really push ideas to make sure a client gets an individual design solution. At Parker Design, I get to work directly with all of my clients and I find this to be the most efficient way of working. It also delivers the best results.

x

Peter McMonagle

Art Director

As a graphic designer, you don’t want to have the same style running through all of your work. I’d say that my specialty is the range and versatility of my work. I love being a designer at Parker Design, because it's never routine: I look after my own accounts and meet with clients, as well as work on great design briefs.

x

Neil Sandbach

Senior Designer & Developer

I’m a graphic designer and a web developer, so it’s a great range of work and the best of both worlds for me. I love exploring something and discovering its fundamental aspects; it’s rewarding when you find a really great idea and flesh it out through to completion.

x

James Harwood

Producer

I’m an organiser. Pens in the right place. Cables tidied up nicely behind my Mac. Lists written in black and ticked off in red. Medically I would probably say I’m a little crazy. Hopefully this doesn’t show too often and it’s something that our clients can rely on. The organisation that is. Not the craziness.

x

Tom Hubbard

Senior Designer

Branding is my favourite area within design. I love the opportunity to take a completely new approach towards a company’s tone of voice helping to set them out from the crowd.

x

Tom Yarwood

Designer

I love the challenge of taking aspects of a clients business and moulding them to create an identity that is not just visually unique but captures the essence of their business.

x

Chris Wood

Senior Designer

I have always enjoyed being creative; from an early age I used to sketch, build and draw nearly everyday but it wasn’t until I was doing my GCSEs that I realised my love for graphic design. There’s something nice and rewarding about seeing your work on the shelf in a shop or up in lights over a building.

x

Jon Brentnall

Front-end Web Developer

Creating websites that are user-friendly and well-designed takes time, energy and the willingness to sort through a few hundred lines of code.

x

Roger Hinds

Senior Artworker

At school I had always been interested in design. So, when my career's teacher asked me what I wanted to do, I told him I wanted to be a Graphic Designer. ‘What’s that?’ he said! Great start . . .

x

Lisa Graham

Account Manager

The best part of working for a design agency is the excitement that comes from a brief and continues right through to delivery, always considering the best outcomes and solutions with an innovative or original result.

x

María Puche-Jiménez

Marketing Manager

I love beautiful, gorgeous design that changes people's minds and creates an ever-lasting memory.

x

Tom Hinds

Audio Visual Designer

I love design, and making designs move and work with other video elements is a challenge which I enjoy every time. There is something satisfying about focusing on the minutest of details in an animation, and adding little finesses which add up to an engaging and exciting video.

x

Simon MacFadyen

Senior Front-end Web Developer

Working within a creative and talented team has always been an aspiration of mine as a Front-End Developer. Taking a project from infancy to launch is an exciting feeling, but I feel it’s even more rewarding when working with others to achieve a really special result.

x

Matty Davis

Graphic Designer

I bumped into someone looking through my work, we got talking and after a bit of friendly chit-chat he then left me with a bright red business card, with a white logo that said, Parker Design. A few months down the line, here I am. Talk about a great place to start!

x

Dan Mellor

Senior Designer

Having cut my teeth at a brand agency I have a particular passion for crafting brand identity, I love getting underneath the skin of a business to provide an effective response that ticks all the boxes.

x

Gordon Barry

Audio Visual Designer

One of my first memories of consciously designing was copying the teacher’s handwriting style off the board in primary school. My strong passion for typography has really shaped my creativity and is definitely accountable for the path that I currently walk.

x

Marlon Evans

Senior Back-end Web Developer

I enjoy the challenge of finding solutions that hide the inherent complexities of web applications and provide a rich user experience as they navigate their way through it. It's great to be part of a team that continually tries to find the right combination of tools for the task at hand.

x

Nicola Vernon-Smith

Graphic Designer

I’m so glad I decided to change careers, even though it was mildly terrifying at the time!
