Animated corporate video

To help AstraZeneca’s Human Resources team take a meaningful next step in the company’s mission for digitisation, our animation team delivered an animated corporate video that helps celebrate what has been achieved so far, and encourages fresh action.

Background

Continuing AstraZeneca’s push for digitisation across all departments and functions within the company, it was now time to help the Human Resources team embrace and co-create AstraZeneca’s digital future.

Challenge

Part of a wider campaign targeting the Human Resources team, our animation team were asked to produce a quick-fire animated showreel video with the aim of immediately capturing attention on AstraZeneca’s intranet – Workplace – a portal already filled with information on a wide range of topics relevant to employees. A key element of the challenge this time was to keep the animated video to just under 60 seconds*, with no room for movement, without compromising on messaging or losing impact.

Solution

With such a short animated video, the first 10 seconds were crucial to stop audiences from scrolling down to other content on Workplace, so we added animation and a splash of colour to a dynamic canvas of binary code. The introduction of a series of icons then adds structure and personality to the intro, while a bounce effect brings energy and impact.

The animated corporate video we produced for our client is a lively and agile summary that celebrates what has been achieved by the team so far, and then moves on to keep the audience energised with a sense of excitement about what’s yet to come; the video tells an engaging story from start to finish.

The animated video is filled with messaging aimed at fostering internal dialogue amongst employees and encouraging action.
