Trade show graphics
Our exhibitions team helped DAI make a lasting first impression at Retail Week Like with a simple trade show graphics design that transmits the essence of success in the Logistics sector.
Background
First founded over 40 years ago, DAI is a leader in supply chain and logistics software, helping clients achieve a real competitive advantage thanks to their effective and dependable solutions. This was the first time our client was exhibiting at Retail Week Live, the single largest show in the UK for the Retail sector. Over 2 days, DAI would be promoting one of its software solutions in front of 300 companies and 1,400 attendees who gather to connect, find inspiration, and see retail from a new perspective.
Challenge
To make a lasting impression at their first Retail Week Live, and despite a strict budget and a small back wall plot of just 3 x 2 metres, DAI wanted to maximise their presence at the show with trade show graphics that would turn heads.
Solution
Our exhibitions team created a very simple design that helped our client achieve just that. Initially discussing the possibility of a much more elaborate graphics wall, instead we opted to lead with strong quality images which we placed inside DAI’s branding hexagonal shapes. The shapes, woven into a pattern, help transmit the concept of structured teamwork, order and constant communication required in any logistical operation.
The wall includes a screen which we used to play an animation produced by our content team. The animation served as a vehicle to explain product benefits in more detail, an engaging way to capture the attention of passers-by.
A mixture of stock and client-supplied photography helps add movement and visual context to the simple design.
Our involvement in the project also included the creation of a set of brochures for DAI sales team to hand out at the show.
We also helped DAI promote their products with another trade show graphics wall at Intermodal Asia, a leading exhibition event in the transport logistics calendar.
