“It’s such a pleasure to come to work every day!”

Where to begin… Really soon after joining Parker Design I felt part of the family. Everyone made me feel so at home, and it really doesn’t look like it’s an effort for my colleagues – they truly are a friendly bunch. The team (and the great office space), really make it a pleasure to come to work each day.

I’ve worked in accounts for many years, since leaving school in fact. I’ve gained much experience over the years after studying my AAT (that’s the Association of Accounting Technicians qualification) and spending 12 years at Fords of Winsford, the North West’s largest used car supermarket. I also spent some years at Greenall’s and Tiscali.

Before I found Parker Design I had been thinking of taking a leap of faith and move to a totally different sector, so when the opportunity came up it didn’t take me long to decide. And what a great decision that was. I feel so lucky to be working amongst such a creative, innovative and ambitious group of people. It’s obvious they really care and take such pride in their work – something which unfortunately can be quite rare these days!

Being Mum to three beautiful girls I don’t have much free time, but I ensure I spend as much time as I can with them, they make me so proud! I also have a very patient husband who I admire immensely for living in a house with four females. Spending time with my beloved friends is also extremely important, not just because we enjoy the odd tipple or two, but because they keep me sane!
