Campaign branding
We were approached by AstraZeneca’s Enterprise Information Management team to help produce a range of campaign branding ideas that would help them instil good information practice throughout the company.
Background
AstraZeneca operates in an information-rich industry, and the organisation considers information to be essential for the success of the company. So the way information is found, sorted, used, stored and protected are vital elements of this success. As such AstraZeneca have embarked on a programme to embed good practice around information management throughout the organisation. The programme ranges from the establishment of a formal information management policy through to communications, training and cultural change.
Challenge
We were approached by AstraZeneca’s newly formed Enterprise Information Management team to help create and produce a range of campaign branding ideas and internal communications tools for use within the working environment across the company. The rationale behind the new branding design was to immediately help transmit the role of the new team and the importance of complying with information management good practice and policies.
Solution
The project aimed to change employees’ opinion about the use of information, and encourage those who are storing data to tag it with the appropriate meta data so it can easily be found and used by others. Working alongside the Enterprise Information Management team, we developed a wide range of branding options. The chosen campaign branding design consists of a tag or label featuring the familiar ‘i’ for information alongside the title, a simple and very effective solution.
