We were approached by AstraZeneca’s Enterprise Information Management team to help produce a range of campaign branding ideas that would help them instil good information practice throughout the company.

AstraZeneca operates in an information-rich industry, and the organisation considers information to be essential for the success of the company. So the way information is found, sorted, used, stored and protected are vital elements of this success.

As such AstraZeneca have embarked on a programme to embed good information practice throughout the organisation. The programme ranges from the establishment of a formal information management policy through to communications, training and cultural change. We were approached by AstraZeneca’s newly formed Enterprise Information Management team to help produce a range of campaign branding ideas and communications tools for use within the working environment.

Working alongside the team, we developed a wide range of options. The final campaign branding design consists of a tag or label featuring the familiar ‘i’ for information alongside the title. The project aimed to change people’s opinion about the use of information, and encourage employees who are storing data to tag it with the appropriate meta data so it can easily be found and used by others.
