Challenge
We have been partnering with Trodat on their catalogue design and print for several years, helping them present their innovative, climate-neutral products to the market. Each edition showcases the latest advancements in their range, reinforcing their commitment to sustainability and product innovation.
For the latest catalogue, our task was to highlight Trodat’s environmentally friendly approach, specifically their development of smaller, lighter stamps made from 65% recycled plastic. This innovation not only reduces environmental impact but also gives Trodat a stronger competitive edge in the market.
Solution
Our design strategy ensured that this message remained a consistent focal point, effectively communicating the eco-conscious benefits of their products while maintaining the brand’s modern and professional identity.
The green leaf icon we originally developed for the previous catalogue made a return in this edition, having proven to be a highly effective visual marker alongside product images. This element was instrumental in reinforcing Trodat’s commitment to sustainability and its bold contrast against the red and black brand colour scheme ensured it remained instantly recognisable throughout the catalogue.
For this updated version, we introduced several new design enhancements. A die-cut cover added a distinctive touch, immediately elevating the visual appeal of the catalogue. The content was refreshed to feature new products, ensuring the latest innovations were presented in a clear and compelling way. To enhance the user experience, we incorporated feature pages, designed to function like advertisements for specific products, drawing attention to standout offerings.
To maintain clarity and structure, we implemented a grid-based layout that organised product photos and specification tables, making information easy to read and navigate. At the back of the catalogue, we once again included an order form for customer stamps, along with a process walk-through graphic, illustrating the online order process in a simple and intuitive way. These refinements helped create a modern, functional and visually engaging product catalogue that supports both customer needs and Trodat’s brand messaging.
