Corporate video
We produced a corporate video that presents the evolution of Ventient Energy from an operation-focused company to a leader in developing new strategies in the energy sector.
Background
Ventient Energy has been evolving from only focusing on operational assets in the wind power industry to becoming a multi-technology company developing new ideas to revolutionise the energy sector.
The company’s Madrid Project is the first initiative developed by Ventient from beginning to end: a wind farm co-located with a solar plant, which will generate over 400GW* of energy a year. The co-location strategy maximises both types of energy sources, compensating for each other: when wind energy is not being produced (most of it gets produced at night time), solar energy production takes over.
Challenge
To produce a corporate video aimed at stakeholders, investors and licensing authorities (which would ultimately need to give the project the green light) to generate awareness of the many benefits Ventient’s co-location strategy will have for the environment, electricity providers, end consumers, and the local community, which will benefit from the creation of new jobs as the project becomes a reality and the subsequent required maintenance of the sites.
Solution
The third in a series of “Did you know” videos we produced for our client, this time we didn’t film the drone footage ourselves, instead adding some subtle visual touches in the form of motion-tracked stats and an animated wave graphic that adds movement and flow. The rotoscoping technique was also used in some of the footage to add a three-dimensional effect.
We co-developed the storyboard and script in close collaboration with our client, which resulted in an interview style that felt natural and relaxed, and really transmitted the energy and passion behind the co-location strategy.
