We delivered a beautiful and effective hospitality website design that resulted in an 11.35% increase in sessions compared to the same period the previous year, and a 9.48% uplift in unique users.
Set in an idyllic location in the heart of rural Cheshire, Abbeywood Estate offers a relaxed environment to enjoy casual dining, premium accommodation and facilities to cater for functions and weddings.
The 45-acre estate, home to the Rowlinson family, needed a website that would improve the overall user experience, as well as increase visitor numbers, and it needed to do all this while focusing on its beauty and the quality of service it offers.
The website also needed to appeal to new and repeat guests, whether they were looking for beautiful accommodation, a memorable and informal dining experience, or the wedding venue of their dreams.
We delivered a clean, modern design that transmits a mixture of traditional and contemporary countryside values.
The new website design immediately immerses visitors in the unique Abbeywood experience thanks to stunning photography of the estate grounds and interiors, and a clear structure that makes our client’s offering clear and easy to follow.
The hospitality website design allows our client to present stunning images of the estate – beautiful gardens and rooms, and unforgettable wedding and events venues, while keeping the pages uncluttered.
We designed each section with its own logo and distinctive colour scheme, following a similar design pattern so it’s easy for visitors to navigate to the information they require.
Casual brush strokes in soft, fresh colours inspired by the surrounding countryside frame the name of the estate, hinting at its relaxed and rustic feel.
The website was built into a CMS (Content Management System) that allows Abbeywood to update their website with the latest information and imagery quickly and easily.
At all stages during the design, development and implementation, we ensured the website design was fully responsive on all mobile devices, as well as accounting for visitors viewing the website on different browser versions.
Results were encouraging from the start – this website design resulted in an 11.35% increase in sessions compared to the same period the previous year, and a 9.48% uplift in unique users.
