Background
Set in an idyllic location in the heart of rural Cheshire, Abbeywood Estate offers a relaxed environment to enjoy casual dining, premium accommodation and facilities to cater for functions and weddings.
Challenge
The 45-acre estate, home to the Rowlinson family, required website design and development to increase visitor numbers and improve the user experience overall. The hospitality website design also needed to appeal to new and existing clients, whether looking for accommodation, a memorable and informal dining experience or the wedding venue of their dreams.
Solution
We updated the website to a clean modern design whilst retaining a contemporary country look and feel. The hospitality website design presents the wide range of products available in an easy to navigate way, allowing our client to showcase their full offer, while visitors are able to choose the product most suited to their needs.
We designed each section with its own logo and fresh and distinctive colour scheme, following a similar design pattern so it’s easy for users to find the information they require. The hospitality website design allows our client to present stunning images of the estate, beautiful gardens, accommodation and wedding and events venues, while keeping the pages uncluttered. The website was built into a CMS (Content Management System) that allows our client to update their website with the latest information and imagery quickly and easily.
At all stages during the design, development and implementation, we ensured the brochureware website design was fully responsive on all mobile devices, as well as accounting for visitors viewing the website on different browser versions.
Results were encouraging from the start, with an 11.35% increase in sessions compared to the same period the previous year, and a 9.48% uplift in unique users.
