Modular design stand
The natural materials, fresh colours and curved lines of this modular design stand form the perfect stage to present Electricity North West as a leader in innovation.
Background
The Energy Innovation Summit is the only event of its kind, designed to bring together energy system innovators and decision makers from across the world. This was our third time working with Electricity North West on a stand for this show.
Challenge
We were tasked with delivering a modular design stand which – whilst ensuring a degree of visual consistency with the stands we had designed in previous years – would surprise delegates and create a real point of differentiation in the exhibition hall. The modular stand would also need to showcase Electricity North West’s innovative products in a demo zone.
Solution
The 10m x 8m modular exhibition stand focuses on presenting a welcoming and exciting environment that delegates feel immediately attracted to, achieved thanks to a prominent demo area and a design that relies on curved lines, replacing the angular edges of previous years.
Wooden slats in the corporate green nod at Electricity North West’s sustainability credentials while printed logo boards crown the structure, adding stature to our client’s presence at the show.
With the stand located on a corner near the entrance, a perspex window adds immediate depth, visually guiding delegates in and ensuring the stand is the first stop in their journey.
Showcasing innovation in the demo area:
a fully working 30kg OLTC and an actuator of the same weight, also in full working order.
A large, lockable store room was used for staff refreshments, personal belongings and a fridge, as well as AV connections and cabling – we enabled a Wireless Network Hotspot which supplied up to 20 connections.
A keyless keypad made it easier for the team (up to 14 people) to access the store room. Strategically positioned lightboxes add prominence to messaging and project the stand in different directions.
QR codes on the backlit graphics panels signpost visitors directly to Electricity North West’s innovation webpage.
