Portable display stand
With this portable display stand we not only helped our client realise significant cost savings by repurposing an existing design, we also ensured their audience enjoyed a fresh yet consistent experience one year on, strengthening their brand.
Background
OnePlastics, a leading manufacturer of plastic products, specialises in injection moulding and related services. The company operates in the UK, Ireland and China, and as part of their promotion calendar they were exhibiting at Subcon – the must-attend event for subcontract manufacturing professionals across all industry sectors. At the show were the best of British manufacturing and a wide range of market-leading international suppliers.
Challenge
Our client needed a simple, versatile and cost-effective exhibition solution to help them maximise their presence and investment in the show.
Solution
By repurposing the stand used by OnePlastics the previous year, we not only helped our client realise significant cost savings, we also ensured their audience enjoyed a fresh yet consistent experience one year on, strengthening their brand.
Above, the portable display stand before repurposing: 5x3m.
Below, one year later, after extending it to 6x3m and refreshing the design.
Focused on cost, and maximising the flexibility of the format, we also reconfigured the stand from a corner site to a layout enclosed at both ends. We also reprinted the graphics. Overall, the stand is kept simple to allow the products on display shelves to be the main attraction, encouraging the show attendees to step in, engage in dialogue and interact with the product.
On one of the ends, a watermark of the machinery is used to show OnePlastics’ manufacturing capabilities. The diagonal split of the previous year remains, although the increased length of the stand and a simple yet striking photograph of one of the company’s leading products adds contrast and a central point of focus, attracting attention across the exhibition hall.
