Background

Renewed annually, Trodat’s catalogues are a great way to drive traffic to their website to increase sales, and we’ve been producing effective product catalogue design for our client for years.

This time, Trodat was looking for a corporate, modern and clean product catalogue design style.

The new catalogue is inspiring, informative and legible, with easy to understand typography and quality product photography. We paid special attention to the product specification areas, laying out data in a clear and concise way so it’s easy for customers to reference and use.

We produced a comprehensive design for displaying sample uses, sizes and stamp colours, technical details and product photos. The many varying products are shown legibly and clearly, succeeding at cross-selling products.

The design we produced for Trodat uses a grid structure which supports a variety of styles for pages, from technically detailed to more image-focused advert style spreads. We used a full colour design throughout to echo the high quality full colour technology used within the custom stamp products themselves, whilst maintaining the brand look using the royal blue and red as the leading hues.

We also managed the printing and fulfilment for our client, and recommended using a matt laminate to help protect the cover. Thick coated paper guaranteed durability and quality after many uses.
