Retail exhibition stand design
Thanks to this retail exhibition stand design we helped our client establish their presence and make an unforgettable first impression at a busy industry show.
Challenge
Galaxy Optical Services – a UK manufacturer and distributor of prescription glasses, contact lenses, sunglasses and accessories – asked us to produce an exhibition stand design that would promote its new fashion eyewear ranges at the MIDO show in Milan.
Having provided stand design and build services to our client for numerous international shows, it was up to our creative team to come up with a solution that really excited optical industry buyers from around the world. We needed to showcase the wide product range in the right way to really capture the attention of delegates and avoid blending into the background at this busy industry show.
Solution
To support Galaxy’s reputation as a force in the eyewear industry, we developed an exclusive 84sqm showroom with multiple product displays and discreet meeting areas.
The clean, contemporary retail exhibition stand design – featuring the latest ranges from top fashion brands, including Dunlop, Kangol, Lipsy London and Dreamworks – provided ample space for buyers to explore, or privately discuss purchasing deals.
Designing an engaging exhibition space that is affordable can often be a challenge. To optimise our client’s return on investment and make their budget go further, we refurbished an existing stand that we’d developed several years earlier, creating a completely new experience for visitors. The retail exhibition stand design featured four glass displays, which could be seen both inside and outside the booth and lent an airy, modern feel to the space.
As part of the layout, we integrated four meeting areas into the space so that staff could close deals with buyers on site, without cluttering or encroaching on product presentation areas.
We provided Galaxy with a full turnkey solution, from working directly with Italian event organisers prior to the build, to designing and developing the stand and managing the shipping, building and repatriation of the exhibition materials back to the UK.
As a result, this year’s retail exhibition stand design was so effective that Galaxy is considering using it for several future events on their marketing calendar.
