Sustainability report design
A first for our client, this sustainability report design tells a powerful story of how H&T Presspart succeeds at hitting ambitious targets.
Background
With 50 years of partnerships with leading pharma companies worldwide, H&T Presspart is a world leader and specialist in manufacturing drug delivery devices and pharmaceutical components.
Our client’s strong reputation for the precision and reliability their products offer is of critical importance when the quality of life of millions of patients depends on them. In the words of our client: “This gives us the responsibility and the opportunity to drive social and ecological transformation”.
The global H&T Presspart team is working together to continue to deliver innovative, efficient and sustainable solutions, and they have set ambitious goals to integrate social and ecological responsibility into the core business. The company’s sustainability strategy and goals are based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set out by the United Nations in 2015, and have, over the last few years, gained industry recognition achieving Ecovadis Silver rating.
Challenge
With sustainability being such a key focus for our client, we were asked to produce a sustainability report – the company’s first – to help H&T Presspart share their sustainability credentials with customers. The report, originally conceived to be a printed version, would need to be adapted to fit a fully compliant accessible pdf format.
Solution
The sustainability report – downloadable from our client’s website – tells a powerful story of how H&T Presspart hits their sustainability targets and how, through a variety of initiatives, the company is committed to doing business in an ethical and transparent way.
Photography supplied by our client plays a major part in the report design, speaking directly to the reader through images of H&T Presspart people going about their day in the lab or out in the field making a positive difference to the environment.
The varied content – a combination of key messages from H&T Presspart employees involved in sustainability projects, Q&A section, one-person perspectives, statistics, and more – together with the way the different topics are treated visually, make for a strong and engaging read that cements our client’s commitment to sustainability.
Maximising elements from the new branding we had developed for our client, the sustainability report design is a vibrant piece of corporate communications, full of dynamism and movement thanks to imaginative use of some of the new brand elements, such as colour and angled lines.
Key statistics are given space to breathe on the page, highlighting the importance H&T Presspart places on tracking against ambitious sustainability targets.
The accessible pdf we delivered also includes interactivity elements, giving the reader total control in the way they explore the report and H&T Presspart’s achievements.
