Adaptable congress stand design

Despite a modest footprint, the stand carries forward the same principles developed in Jerusalem, Porto and Prague, balancing promotional activity with Medical Affairs while adapting to local constraints.

For the Perth stand, we built on an established exhibition design approach, applying the same thinking in a different geographical context.

Using a visual language aligned with Prague, the design maintains continuity across congresses while responding to the conditions of the space. The focus was on adapting, not reworking, a concept that had already proved effective.

With limited space available, the stand was organised into a 50/50 split between a promotional and a Medical Affairs area.

Each side works independently while still feeling part of a single, connected space. We integrated a compact storage area without interrupting the overall layout, ensuring the team had what they needed on site.

Although height restrictions were in place, the adaptable congress stand design makes full use of the vertical space allowed.

By building up to the maximum permitted height, the stand achieves stronger visibility across the exhibition floor and holds its own within a busy environment.

For this congress, we ensured that interaction remained central to the experience.

A touchscreen is positioned for easy access, encouraging visitors to explore content, while printed materials provide further context for discussion. The barista coffee station, carried through from previous stands, continues to draw people in and create natural opportunities for engagement.

Both areas include meeting spaces, with the Medical Affairs side designed as a more relaxed lounge environment for longer discussions.

While adapted to suit its location, the Perth stand remains clearly connected to the wider series of PTC congress stands.

Consistent design elements and layout principles ensure the experience feels familiar, while demonstrating the ability to deliver the same standard internationally.

This adaptable congress stand design shows how a well-defined concept can be applied across different locations without losing its strength.

It provides a clear, balanced environment for both promotional activity and scientific exchange, while reinforcing a consistent global presence.
