Background

AstraZeneca, one of the leading global biopharmaceutical companies, approached us to produce a corporate brochure design for their Research and Development (R&D) centre in Loughborough. The Loughborough Science, Enterprise and Technology Park offers laboratories, office space, manufacturing facilities and clinical and technical resources.

Challenge

Our task was to deliver a brochure design that conveys the magnitude and significance of the location – a breathtaking property covering more than 70 acres of meticulously landscaped grounds. The goal was also to create a brochure that reflected the innovative work being conducted at the facility.

Solution

Following a briefing session with our client and a tour of the 70-acre site, we enlisted the help of a professional architectural photographer and embarked on a three-day photoshoot throughout the facility, guided by the artistic direction of our team.

The corporate brochure design features a clean, modern layout with high-quality images of the R&D centre, its researchers and advanced equipment in use on site. The content includes details on ongoing research, success stories and testimonials from scientists, making the brochure informative and engaging for stakeholders and potential partners.

The corporate brochure design showcases the extensive facilities, their capacity and the attractive scenery the location provides.

We created the brochure in an oversized square format to provide a suitable backdrop for displaying the stunning photography effectively. This provided us with the opportunity to create stunning, clear page layouts that showcased the photography at its best, resulting in a polished, perfect bound corporate brochure design that created a captivating and lasting impression.

The final product was a professional, visually appealing brochure that effectively showcased the achievements of the Loughborough R&D centre. It served as both a marketing tool and a reflection of AstraZeneca’s commitment to innovation in healthcare.
