As part of the roll-out of their five year business plan, Sage enlisted Parker Design to help create an eye-catching suite of corporate communications materials to grab the attention of its employees and get them engaged with the programme.
Wanting to strike a balance between high impact, aimed at all employees and a more personal approach, we designed an extensive and diverse range of corporate communications.
Starting with the personal materials, using our knowledge of digital printing techniques we designed a range of brochures, desktop calendars, and posters each one personalised throughout with the recipients’ name. To add an injection of fun we even had some personalised Rubik’s Cube puzzles produced carrying the branding and messages of the plan.
To add some drama and a real wow factor, we then designed and produced a range of wall posters, window graphics, hanging banners and cardboard cut outs, with which to decorate their Manchester based offices.
We produced a short animated Flash presentation to play on the wall mounted Plasma screens and, using the services of a theatrical model maker, we even designed and had made some giant branded cubes which could be stacked around the offices as sculptures, or used as informal branded stools in the coffee areas.
To give the launch of the plan maximum impact, we waited until the last employee had left the office on the Friday night, before moving in with an army of fitters. Working through the weekend and into the small hours we decorated five floors across two office blocks with all the corporate communications materials. When the employees walked back through the doors the following Monday morning they were blown away with the transformed office space, before sitting down at their desks to find their very own suite of personalised materials.
