Modular exhibition design
We created a stylish and versatile modular exhibition design to help Stirling Lloyd cost-effectively promote one of their product ranges at a series of industry events.
Background
Our client, a leading UK manufacturer of high performance coatings for infrastructure and buildings, was scheduled to attend multiple industry shows throughout the year as part of their sales and marketing strategy. After exhibiting for a number of years using a standard shell scheme, they wanted to create a bigger impact at future shows to help their sales teams drive incremental visitor traffic and sales leads.
Challenge
To deliver a high quality stand that would connect more effectively with our client’s target audience, whilst retaining the flexibility to adapt to different floor plans and product promotion strategies, and remaining cost-effective.
Solution
We delivered a modular exhibition design that took Stirling Lloyd to the next level. With a stylish look and feel and seamless graphics that could be reconfigured to suit different floor plans and plot sizes, our client was able to communicate in a way that worked for both shows and immediately resonated with audiences.
Using colours and graphic devices from our client’s brand, we created striking visuals to help Stirling Lloyd establish an authoritative presence in the exhibition space. Clean, straight lines help to open up the exhibition space and allow the content to breathe, while powerful case study photographs provide a context for their product and service offering.
The stand is inviting, but also includes an open partition that creates a sense of privacy, which helped encourage in-depth conversations between sales teams and prospective clients. To give the stand a custom-built feel, we used feature lighting, which also helped attract the attention of passers-by. And to boost audience engagement, we included interactive elements, such as a touch screen to promote product features and benefits.
The stand is quick and easy to build, requiring only two people. To ensure quality and minimise costs for our client, we provided additional training for the Stirling Lloyd team on set-up, breakdown and reconfiguration. The modular exhibition design is durable and easy to transport, maximising the number of shows our client can attend and increasing their return on investment.
We also added scope to expand the design in the future, including incorporating extra panels, as well as eventually allowing the structure to evolve into an island configuration.
