Challenge

Our brief was to create engaging content for our client’s website in the form of an animated infographic. Using research carried out by our client, the infographic would go back in time and round the world, telling stories of how different cultures and countries have managed high temperatures throughout history.

Solution

The animated infographic design is a total departure for our client, with visuals and copy that take existing and new customers by surprise, immediately generating curiosity.

To boost website traffic figures and maximise its shareability, we suggested an informal illustrative style for the animated infographic design.

The piece is highly informative thanks to a series of curious facts and ideas about how to beat the heat; it’s even humorous and entertaining.
Visually, a colour palette of light, cool tones nods at the idea of a summer spent away from extreme temperatures.
