Having designed dozens of product and services brochures for Pinacl over the years, when it came to their corporate brochure it was time for something a little different.
Challenge
Whilst wanting to keep to an A4 format for ease of posting, Pinacl also wanted a corporate brochure that immediately attracted the attention of their audience.
Solution
Having experimented with a number of different design concepts for the front cover, we settled on a creative design that featured an innovative double cover. The outer cover posed a question and featured a die cut hole in the centre, partially revealing a graphical image on the secondary cover underneath.
When opened, the full image was revealed along with the payoff to the question. It was important that the inside spreads carried as much impact as the cover and so the page layouts featured extensive use of high impact photography. We subtly manipulated and enhanced each image to echo Pinacl’s corporate brand colours and complemented these with contemporary typography.
To further accentuate the design we added a tactile finish to the print with the use of contrasting matt laminates and spot UV varnishes.
