Parker Design has been creating web video production for many years now, and for clients such as Sage it’s become an increasingly important and powerful channel for product promotion.
Recent results from the Web Video Marketing Council research show that 71% of businesses are maintaining or increasing their video marketing budgets. This insight, combined with statistics from Google that confirm that optimised web video increases the chance of a page one ranking in Google search by a staggering 53 times, make web video one of the most effective marketing channels.
Sage recognise that one of the best ways to promote their products is peer to peer, so they asked us to produce a web video that would essentially function as a case study, profiling one of their customers talking passionately about the positive benefits of using Sage products.
The web video production technique we used was to shoot and edit the short film in a documentary style, using off camera interview techniques coupled with scene setting cut away shots and general views. Through the interviews with the accountant and one of his customers talking about Sage products the film gives a soft and yet very credible sell.
The finished video is polished, professional and most importantly engaging for the viewer.
