Bold use of colour and a highly visual approach to content made this marketing product brochure a highly effective sales and customer education piece.


A leading pharmaceutical containment and aseptic processing specialist, ChargePoint Technology connects processes in a way that enables reliable, sterile and safe powder transfers. The company offers three types of solutions: Sterility Assurance, Containment and Single Use Technology.

With a strong business focus on Single Use Technology, our brief was to help promote this emerging range of products with a new marketing product brochure. Much more than a sales tool, the brochure would also need to act as an education piece for target audiences.

The new brochure design would also provide an opportunity to refresh the brand.


We started by enhancing the brand with a cleaner, contemporary look. The refreshed look and feel is highly visual, with product photography taking centre stage.

Putting most of the focus on images and varied and appealing ways of presenting content allowed us to show the complex processes involved and visualise how the precision-engineered Single Use products fit within the entire production line.

The use of colour is minimal, but manages to make an impact by using it boldly and confidently.

A bi-fold page allows readers to see the full product range, while a detailed technical illustration helps explain the production process and where ChargePoint Single Use Technology products fit in.

As well as the brochure design and brand refresh, we also managed the printing for our client. In total we produced 500 copies for distribution to the various ChargePoint sales teams. We chose the paper stock carefully – semi-coated silk paper that allows the colour within the marketing brochure to really pop. We had also done an earlier shorter print run, for which we adapted the design (without the fold-out page) to be able to do a quicker digital print run in time for CPhI Worldwide in Frankfurt.
