We produced an effective pharmaceutical infographic video that helped AstraZeneca generate awareness of their type 2 diabetes drug.
Humans process visual information 60,000 times faster than verbal messages. That’s why the use of infographics can be a key factor to guarantee the effectiveness of your communications – internal or external – as they let audiences understand complex messages far quicker than other communication methods.
As part of AstraZeneca’s BrandWISE awareness campaign, Parker Design were asked to produce a short pharmaceutical infographic video about the type 2 diabetes drug Onglyza™. The final video piece would be displayed on large plasma screens across AstraZeneca UK sites. The graphical style and colour palette needed to be in keeping with the brand guidelines whilst ensuring the animation was punchy and clear at communicating the message.
An existing infographics style had already been developed for use on pop-up exhibition stands, so we took this as the basis for developing the storyboard. The video relies on a style rooted in simplicity and clarity to maximise understanding.
With the storyboard and script signed off, we set to work transforming the stills onto animated scenes, timed to the accompanying voiceover.
