This colourful, memorable, and user-friendly email newsletter template generated high levels of employee engagement.
Having branded many of its support and maintenance facilities under the name Essentials, AstraZeneca asked us to design an email newsletter template to allow them to regularly update employees on the services available. Our client wanted to be able to take on the production of each newsletter issue in house, hence the request for a template. The template had to be simple, user friendly, so that the AstraZeneca team could update it quickly and easily. At the same time, the design had to immediately capture imaginations to ensure maximum employee engagement in the initiative.
Making full use of the vibrant AstraZeneca brand colours we designed the email newsletter template with a striking masthead at the top of the page, using blocks of colour to create a simple but eye catching navigation bar.
The email newsletter has two columns – the wider of the two contains the main articles, whereas a narrower column on the right was designed to be used for snippets and smaller stories. To help with the ongoing production of the email newsletters we provided AstraZeneca staff with onsite training. The end result is colourful and memorable and has been a huge hit with readers.
