Thought leadership infographics
To demonstrate our client’s expertise and significant role in helping power the global economy, we designed a series of thought leadership infographics. With a clear and accessible design, these infographics effectively communicate key insights while making a lasting impact.
Background
Dematic is a leading provider of integrated automated technology, software and services designed to optimise the supply chain. In 2016, with a growth rate of 25%, the company ranked as the world’s third-largest materials handling systems supplier. Fast forward a few years, and Dematic had further strengthened its position by announcing that its parent company, KION Group AG, had completed the acquisition of DAI (Digital Applications International Limited), a UK-based software company specialising in logistics automation solutions and one of our clients.
This acquisition significantly expanded Dematic’s intralogistics software capabilities, boosting its ability to support the movement, storage and distribution of goods across the entire supply chain.
Challenge
To develop a series of infographic designs that would enable the company to share its insights on the future of eCommerce.
The infographics were intended to complement thought leadership content on the company’s website, feature in newsletters and serve as social media assets. Their purpose was to reinforce the message that Dematic’s technology and expertise play a crucial role in driving and shaping the global eCommerce economy.
Solution
This was a collaborative process, where we worked closely with our client to develop a distinct visual style for the thought leadership infographics. Through in-depth discussions, we established a design approach that is simple, bold and impactful, ensuring that the content is both engaging and easy to absorb. We placed emphasis on key statistics, using large fonts to make the most important data stand out at a glance. To aid readability and structure, we incorporated a vibrant colour palette, guiding readers seamlessly through the information while creating a visually compelling experience.
To improve engagement across different platforms, we structured the thought leadership infographics into bite-sized content blocks, making complex insights more digestible. These sections were then extracted and repurposed for social media posts and PowerPoint slides, ensuring the content remained versatile and could be used effectively across multiple communication channels.
This first infographic established a clear design framework, setting the visual tone for all future thought leadership materials. By creating a cohesive and recognisable style, we provided a scalable solution that allows Dematic to continue producing high-impact, data-driven content that strengthens its position as a leader in eCommerce innovation.
