Meg Woods
Motion Designer
“I knew I was on the right track!”
Being a Motion Designer wasn’t always part of the plan. Despite art and design being a huge part of my childhood, I lost my way in high school and didn’t really have an idea what kind of career I wanted until I stumbled across a Computer Games Design course in college; it turns out spending all my free time playing video games wasn’t such a waste of time after all!
After quickly realising coding wasn’t for me, I chose to experiment with animation in my final project, and that’s when I knew I was on the right track!
I went on to do my degree in Animation at UCLan (University of Central Lancashire) and I graduated in July 2019 with a First, and started working at Parker in October the same year.
Away from the studio, I live a rather quiet life with my boyfriend, two cats and my ever-growing plant collection.
