In the midst of the Fintech Revolution, the University of Manchester recently received a £2.5million donation from a leading British fintech company to boost the region’s capacity and capability in Financial Technology. The funding helped provide a new Chair in fintech, other academic posts and PhD scholarships over the next five years. We were asked to create a set of web banners to attract top candidates to the newly created posts.

To support a series of campaigns, our brief was to produce a range of web banners and social media assets. Over the next few months, we worked closely with the team at Wolters Kluwer to produce various sets of web banners that engage and encourage audiences to react and click through. A simple graphic approach, a clean and uncomplicated design and a bright colour palette grab the audience’s attention immediately.

We created these web banners in a variety of sizes (portrait, square, half page, skyscraper, leaderboard, billboard, mobile, etc.), making sure that there was no loss of impact – whether to the design or the message – regardless of the different file size limits at play. We also provided GIF versions of the HTML5 banners to avoid any compatibility issues.
