“There is something satisfying about focusing on the minutest of details in an animation”
My arrival at Parker Design was the culmination of a 20-year journey. It started when I was 6 years old, creating psychedelic digital paintings on Kid Pix, and continued all the way to university and beyond when I specialised in motion graphics and video editing.
I love design, and making designs move and work with other video elements is a challenge which I enjoy every time. There is something satisfying about focusing on the minutest of details in an animation, and adding little finesses which add up to an engaging and exciting video.
When I’m not nudging keyframes I like to boulder, run, watch United, and travel to America as part of my ongoing goal to visit all 50 states… 30 down, 20 to go.
Whenever I travel I like to shoot plenty of footage and edit together a short video when I get home. Having a video to look back on after a skiing holiday or a road trip is satisfying and people are much more receptive to watching a video than a slideshow with hundreds of pictures!
