The flat graphical style of 2D, together with simplified colours, and a thorough consideration of type, iconography, photography and illustration make this type of animation the ideal visual solution for simple yet engaging character-based animations, informational or explainer videos, and animated infographics that turn the most complex data into a memorable story.
Generally taking place flat to the viewing screen, 2D moves up, then down, left and right and can also scale up or down, or rotate clockwise and anti-clockwise.
